Position Overview:

This role involves skilled work in construction and maintenance within the gas distribution, underground utilities, and gas service lines sectors. The operator will handle equipment such as backhoes, excavators, vibratory or static plows, trenchers, or directional bore machines, under the supervision of a foreman.

Essential Functions:

• Perform construction and maintenance duties related to the natural gas industry, demonstrating required knowledge, skill, and physical ability.
• Carry out physical tasks efficiently, including lifting, digging, tamping, and pipe installation.
• Maintain safety at all times, following company and client safety policies.
• Load and secure materials and equipment for transport.
• Secure work site, equipment, and materials at shift end to ensure safety.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 3 years operating equipment.

Additional requirements: Valid driver’s license with a clean record, ability to obtain CDL, gas construction experience, strong work ethic, and team-oriented attitude.
