Fatherhood Specialist

Fatherhood Williamsburg, VA, US

Salary: $50,000.00 Annually

Job Description

At Child Development Resources (CDR), we believe every child deserves a strong start—and that strong families are built through meaningful relationships, positive parenting, and supportive communities. We are a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to empowering children and families through early intervention, family support, prevention, and community-based services.

We are seeking an engaging, compassionate, and relationship-driven Fatherhood Specialist to join our Fatherhood First program. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of fathers, children, and families by helping men develop the confidence, skills, and resources they need to become involved, responsible, and nurturing parents.

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic communicator, skilled facilitator, and natural relationship-builder who enjoys working directly with people. We are looking for someone who can inspire fathers, create welcoming learning environments, build trust, and connect families with resources that promote long-term success.

Reporting to the Fatherhood Project Director, the Fatherhood Specialist provides educational workshops, individualized mentoring, case management, and community outreach throughout the Hampton Roads region.
