Job summary

Precision Castparts hires fastener assembly operators to safely operate basic 2-5 component assembly machines and assemble fastener components. Candidates should understand basic shop math, print reading, and mechanical aptitude, including assembly form and function and lubrication for performance.

Responsibilities include safe work under PPE guidelines, loading/unloading, in-process inspection, visual management of machines, and production paperwork/audit processes.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write in English.
• Proficient in basic print reading and shop math.
• Demonstrate basic understanding of assembly components and their function.
• Familiar with basic inspection processes and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

They will demonstrate competencies in basic shop math, basic print reading, and mechanical aptitude, a basic understanding of assembly components, including form and function, and lube function for performance.
