The work spans implementation, API and data integration, code quality, release readiness, and production troubleshooting. The successful candidate will apply practical expertise in Python, Django/FastAPI or a comparable framework, REST APIs, SQL, asynchronous processing, testing, and cloud deployment, work with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, maintainable solutions through the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain application components using the approved technology stack.
• Translate functional and technical requirements into maintainable code, APIs, interfaces, or user-facing features.
• Integrate applications with databases, external services, and enterprise systems using appropriate standards.
• Participate in code reviews, automated testing, debugging, and performance improvement.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and operations teams through release and production support.

Required Qualifications

• Experience Required: typically 4+ years in a related professional role; exact threshold must match the approved requisition.
• Practical experience with the role-specific technology stack: Python, Django/FastAPI or a comparable framework, REST APIs, SQL, asynchronous processing, testing, and cloud deployment.
• Professional experience building or supporting production software using the core technologies relevant to this role.
• Strong understanding of programming fundamentals, software design, data structures, and maintainable code.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, data stores, and appropriate testing practices.
• Working knowledge of Git or another source-control system and structured development workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot defects and communicate technical findings clearly.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile or iterative delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional hands-on depth in Python, Django/FastAPI or a comparable framework, REST APIs, SQL, asynchronous processing, testing, and cloud deployment.
• Experience with cloud services, automation, and modern delivery practices relevant to the project.
• Familiarity with secure development, accessibility, governance, or regulatory requirements where applicable.
• Relevant professional certifications or advanced training in the role’s technology area.
