FirstCash Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in Louisiana. The position targets external retail assistant managers and store managers aiming to fast-track into a Store Management role.

Requires at least 1 year of retail management experience and offers a wage range of $14.00 to $22.40 per hour with potential commissions and bonuses. Responsibilities include assisting Store Manager, leading trainees, and promoting a customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year retail management experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise and ensuring procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control, procedures, and reporting.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, systems, and enterprise-level reporting.
• Evaluate store financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
• Ensure operating standards meet or exceed FirstCash standards.
• Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure value and integrity of loans issued.
• Complete assigned tasks and training for self-development.
• Communicate clearly with employees to ensure understanding of the store’s mission and profit objectives.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge.
• The Assistant Store Manager acts as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
