Job summary

FirstCash in Louisiana is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to join our team. The role targets external retail assistant managers and store managers aiming to fast-track into a Store Management position, requiring at least 1 year of retail management experience.

The position offers hourly pay from $13.00 to $22.40 with commission on sales and a bonus based on store performance. Earned Wage Access and tuition reimbursement are available to eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Store management experience required; ability to supervise and train staff.
• Must be able to work 45+ hours per week, including weekends.
• Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues.
• Monitor and assist in the training of Pawnbrokers so their development meets the prescribed FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company-prescribed channels.
• Opens and closes the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring procedures are followed to protect assets.
• Ensures asset protection through inventory control and store procedures; drives profitability.
