Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Valdosta, GA. You will apply your degree to run a business, solve problems for customers and advance through training across sales, operations, and support functions.

The role is hourly with a starting salary of $25.00 per hour, or about $52,000 annually, plus a $2.00 weekend differential. Advancement opportunities follow the 6–9 month training period and a base pay increase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Internship or related work experience in a customer facing role preferred
• Results oriented, attention to detail and good time management skills
• A valid driver's license is required and ability to drive Penske vehicles including a 26' box truck
• DOT regulations apply; background checks and drug screening are required
• Willingness to travel within the district and work the required schedule at the specified location

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions to local and national accounts
• Manage a large inventory of vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction
• Generate new business leads and foster existing customer relationships
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
