Job summary

Bill Dube is seeking a qualified Quick Lane Service Technician to perform routine maintenance, tire services, inspections, and light repairs in a fast-paced automotive service environment.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic automotive knowledge, and a valid driver’s license. Experience with Ford Quick Lane or dealership service is a plus, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior automotive maintenance or repair experience preferred.
• Ford Quick Lane or automotive service experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment safely.
• Tools and Toolbox required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Remove, mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires.
• Replace batteries, wiper blades, air filters, and cabin filters.
• Perform brake inspections and basic brake service work.
• Diagnose and perform light mechanical repairs.
• Inspect fluid levels and replenish as needed.
• Complete maintenance services efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation.
• Keep workstations, service bays, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Follow all Ford, dealership, and safety procedures.
• Communicate repair findings and recommendations to service advisors.
• Assist with shop maintenance and other duties as assigned.
