Job summary

Backcountry is hiring a Warehouse Associate- Retail Runner in Utah to handle in-store customer carts and orders from intake to fulfillment. The role emphasizes fast, accurate processing in a busy environment with benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, maintaining inventory accuracy, scanning with handheld devices, and supporting LEAN initiatives and team events. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3 months experience in fulfillment center.
• 3 months experience as a Merchandise Processor.
• Verbal and written comprehension of English required.
• Basic math skills required.
• Must follow established procedures and instructions.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a positive influence on the team.
• Proficient in department SOPs.
• Meet production schedules by planning and prioritizing fulfillment/customer needs.
• Participate in team meetings and provide feedback.
• Use MS Excel, WMS, and email for daily tasks.
• Read and audit labels and process inventory.
• Identify, count and sort packages with accuracy.
• Operate forklift when needed.
