Job summary

Daikin Comfort is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Madison to off-load, put-away, pick and stage equipment and parts while delivering professional service to customers and colleagues. Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and surroundings.
• Basic computer skills including data entry to process transactions.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and in a fast-paced environment.
• Eligible to be forklift certified in house within 30 days.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow work instructions, policies and procedures.
• Team player who communicates well with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate forklift and other warehouse equipment to load/unload/transfer material and products without damage.
• Ensure items are received per procedure and stocked in assigned locations.
• Maintain inventory and prepare cycle counts.
• Complete Will Calls and related paperwork accurately.
• Process transactions and generate reports/orders with basic computer skills.
• Follow safety procedures and wear proper PPE and uniform at all times.
