Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a logistics processor to operate with independence and initiative, delivering outstanding customer experiences daily in a fast-moving store environment. You will handle freight, process orders, and support inventory movements across selling floors and stockrooms.

This role requires reliable prioritization, strong organizational skills, and adaptability to a changing schedule. Expect lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing as part of routine duties.

• Physical requirements: continuous movement 6–8 hours per shift with lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload freight, unpack and deliver newly arrived merchandise to selling departments.
• Fulfill customer orders in a timely manner following quality standards.
• Prepare and ship customer orders following quality, packing and shipping standards.
• Utilize inventory management systems to scan, process and research merchandise shipments in accordance with our inventory control processes.
• Assist in maintaining clean and organized selling floors and stockrooms.
• Provide general support to the store, e.g. setting up special events, organizing backroom, markdowns, and relocating store fixtures.
