Responsibilities

• Perform routine kitchen tasks
• Follow prep lists created by department leadership
• Clean all dishes, work stations, cooking equipment, and food storage areas per food safety regulations
• Wash, chop, shred, and grate ingredients for later use
• Operate grills, ovens, fryers, and steam kettles to cook meats, fish, vegetables, and other dishes
• Sweep and mop floors
• Assist with unloading deliveries
• Store ingredients per safety rules
• Assist with inventory monitoring
• Report damaged or faulty equipment
• Label, date, and store food at proper temperatures
