Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator 2 in San Diego, CA to track, verify and report materials, follow shipping procedures, and prepare items for shipment.

The role requires a High School diploma with 2 years shipping/receiving experience, ability to lift 25+ lbs, U.S. citizenship, and an active DoD Secret clearance preferred. SAP experience is a plus; competitive benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of related experience in Shipping & Receiving Warehouse or Manufacturing Environment.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and stand for long periods.
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain DoD Secret level security clearance.
• Experience with shipping regulations and documentation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
• Follow shipping practices, routing and schedule requirements.
• Receive or prepare materials for shipment (unpack/unwrap items).
• Verify quantity/weight and log receipt, process freight bills and bills of lading.
