Job summary

Fogo de Chão in New Orleans is hiring a Kitchen Prep team member to assist in the salad bar, side dishes and desserts with accurate recipe presentation and efficient prep. You will help maintain high standards for inventory, track expiration dates, and keep kitchen areas clean in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and weekend/holiday shifts; comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans, company-paid life insurance and voluntary benefits are available for full-time

Qualifications

• Must be able to transport objects up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provides support through preparation and proper presentation of all salad bar items, side dishes and desserts according to recipe in an efficient manner.
• Ensures that the quality of all inventory and fresh produce are of the highest standards.
• Proper management of inventory levels including the storage area.
• Assists management with tracking of expiration dates on all products.
• Maintains cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas.
• Completes any beginning or closing shift duties as directed by management.
