Job summary

Twin Peaks Restaurants is seeking a Dishwasher to clean all dishes, glassware, and silverware per sanitation requirements and keep the dish area organized. You will assist the kitchen, maintain the line and prep areas, and uphold a customer-focused attitude.

Education is not required; training is provided. This role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and the ability to operate dishwashing machines. Uniform includes provided top, jeans, apron, and non-slip shoes.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required.
• Prior experience with food preparation and kitchen maintenance preferred.
• Training is provided.
• Physical stamina to stand/move for long periods; lift up to 25lbs constantly and up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Operate and regulate dishwashing machines to clean utensils and tableware.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and proper storage of items.

Responsibilities

• Scrape and sort dishes before loading them into a dishwashing machine for cleaning.
• Monitor dish machine water temperature during sanitary wash cycle.
• Unload dishwashing machine after a wash; stock and arrange kitchen utensils and dishes in storage.
• Sweep and scrub kitchen floors to maintain a clean work area.
• Bag kitchen trash and discard in a dumpster at intervals.
• Maintain adequate levels of detergents and other cleaning supplies.
• Assist in the preparation of food as required.
• Attend employee meetings and contribute to Twin Peaks' growth.
• Stock supplies such as food items and utensils in kitchen and storage areas.
• Maintain dishwashing machine and report mechanical faults to supervisor.
• Follow provided schedule ensuring proper water/chemical changes.
• Handle glassware and fragile tableware to prevent breakage.
• Maintain a customer-focused attitude while performing duties.
