Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, meal service, and cleanup.
• Prepare meals according to planned menus.
• Set up workstations with required ingredients and equipment.
• Keep the kitchen and food service areas clean and sanitized.
• Prepare ingredients (chop, peel, cut, etc.).
• Monitor food quality during cooking.
• Follow all nutrition, sanitation, and safety guidelines.
• Properly store food and supplies.
• Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor with all individuals.
• Complete California Adult Food Program records (attendance and meal production logs).
• Assist with special meal preparation for programs and activities.
• Follow directions from supervisors.
