Swinomish Casino & Lodge in Anacortes, WA is seeking a Cook to join our fast-paced, high-volume kitchen team. You will prepare, season, and cook menu items, ensure proper labeling and inventory rotation, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

The role requires teamwork, strong math skills, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and the ability to follow established recipes and procedures in a lively casino setting with robust benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Must be 18+ and obtain the required Health Card, TIPS Card, and pass a background check to obtain a Class IV Gaming Commission permit.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food quickly while maintaining presentation standards.
• Label and rotate inventory properly.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and organized work area.
• Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and supervisors.
• Practice safe food handling and meet Health Department guidelines.
• Perform prep work, use basic knife skills, and measure/mix ingredients.
