Job summary

FXI is a leading foam innovator serving Bedding, Furniture, Industrial, Home & Office, Healthcare and Transportation markets. This production operator role supports scheduling, material flow and 5S compliance in a manufacturing facility.

You will handle foam rolls, assist with gluing operations, maintain SPC charts, follow SOPs and read policies in English. Physical stamina and attention to detail are essential for maintaining clean, organized work areas and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and understand basic geometry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with or willingness to learn Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Physical ability to move and stack foam rolls.
• Competency in reading and comprehending company policies and procedures in English.
• Ability to lift and move foam rolls and other materials as needed.
• Capability to maintain a standing position for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Production Schedule Management: Retrieve and adhere to the production schedule to ensure all operations are executed efficiently.
• Team Direction: Direct the activities of the Baumer Off Bearer, including alternating duties with other operators in this role.
• Material Flow: Direct the flow of materials to maximize operational efficiency.
• Gluing Operation: Oversee the gluing operation in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Statistical and Production Reporting: Maintain statistical process control charts and production reports to monitor and ensure quality.
• Operational Maintenance: Keep the production area operational, clean, and organized in accordance with 5S standards.
