Job summary

Sam’s Club is seeking a Maintenance Associate to help keep our facility safe, clean, and welcoming for members and associates in Hoover, AL.

You will perform routine maintenance across floors, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring hazardous materials are handled safely and supplies are stocked as needed. The role emphasizes a positive attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines, including safety sweeps and proper handling/disposal of hazardous materials.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary and responding to spills.
• Maintains appropriate levels of chemicals and supplies and places orders to replenish as needed.
