Docketly is hiring an Operations Associate for our Coverage team, remotely in Puerto Rico. You will own a live book of court hearings, negotiate in real time, and coordinate via phone, text, and email to secure attorney coverage before hearings.

This full-time hourly role emphasizes accuracy, speed, and client communication. You'll manage a fast-moving pipeline, onboard attorneys, and update law firms on status while protecting margins.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a role requiring high-volume phone outreach or direct negotiation.
• Comfortable and efficient on the phone, with strong verbal and written communication.
• Genuinely organized with the ability to manage many open items at once.
• Calm and decisive under deadline pressure; you make the call and keep moving.
• Tech-friendly and quick to learn new platforms.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Secure coverage on a deadline. Own a portfolio of open court hearings and work daily by phone, text, and email to get the right attorney committed before the hearing date.
• Negotiate fees in real time, hold your position on price, handle counteroffers, and extend offers when needed while protecting margin.
• Triage a fast-moving pipeline. Prioritize hearings, make quick judgments, and explain reasoning to the team.
• Manage curveballs. Handle last-minute changes and urgent coverage gaps with a solutions-first mindset.
• Onboard and support attorneys. Walk new attorneys through Docketly, answer questions, and be the go-to contact so they keep saying yes.
• Keep clients in the loop. Update law firms on hearing status to build trust and avoid surprises.
• Keep data clean. Log activity, confirm assignments, and keep pipeline accurate.
• Make the system better. Spot recurring coverage gaps and bring ideas to daily huddles.
