Job summary

Priority-1 Inc. in Little Rock, AR, is seeking a Carrier Procurement professional to support our nationwide sales team by booking and tracking truckload shipments. You will engage carriers, negotiate rates, and maintain margins while handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This full-time role requires strong phone etiquette, clear communication, and persistent follow-through. Training begins with shadowing the Carrier Procurement Manager and hands-on guidance from veteran

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with carriers and coordinating freight
• Ability to negotiate rates and maintain margins on loads
• Comfortable with high-volume calling and logistics follow-up

Responsibilities

• Utilise TMS system as well as load boards to book and track shipments of freight
• Ability to multi-task and provide accurate updates to sales force
• Negotiate rates with carriers
• Maintain 15% margin on loads
• Make minimum of 100 calls a day to book available loads
