Job summary

As a Lowe's cashier, you will deliver a fast, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money at our stores. You may assist with questions, payments and exchanges, stock shelves, and support other departments as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Customers exit our stores satisfied as you maintain a clean, safe workstation and handle payments and exchanges accurately. This role offers the chance to grow with Lowe's while serving communities.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state
• Retail and/or customer service experience
• Bilingual skills

Responsibilities

• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges
