Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, in the United States, is seeking a friendly Member Services/Cashier to process member purchases, renewals, and upgrades, scan merchandise, and accept various forms of payments. Provide courteous service and maintain the front-line area.

You’ll work with a team, uphold club standards, and help ensure a safe, clean shopping environment. Prior cashier or sales experience and basic math skills are preferred; weekly pay and benefit options are available.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills preferred.
• Prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a point-of-sale system.
• Frequent lifting up to 30 pounds may be required.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases at checkout in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Scan merchandise and handle payments (cash, card, or other accepted forms).
• Issue receipts and assist with returns or price adjustments as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline area and self-checkout stations.
• Assist members with questions and help resolve issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
