General Function

Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Operates cash register accurately, scans products, and ensures store cleanliness, product quality, and supplies management.

Reporting Relations

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers, Department Managers. No direct reports.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides friendly customer service, engaging with customers courteously and professionally.
• Assists customers in finding products, handling special requests, and enhancing their shopping experience.
• Operates cash register, processes transactions, and handles promotional coupons and payments.
• Maintains store cleanliness and organization, including stocking and inventory management.
• Performs sanitation and safety procedures, including cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Adheres to dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Follows scheduled work hours and company policies.

Secondary Duties

• Orders supplies, prices products, and performs special projects as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Problem-solving skills and ability to interpret instructions.
• Basic arithmetic proficiency.
• Organizational skills for filing and data entry.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
