Compass Group is hiring immediately for a full-time Fast Food Shift Lead at Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, KY. • Responds to customer complaints in person and via email.
• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates staff; promotes efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures and prepares schedules; expedites workflow.
• Develops sanitation schedule and ensures staff adherence to cleaning in kitchen and dining areas and utensil washing.
• Contributes to the team; maintains professionalism with customers and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation

Pay Range: $14.00 per hour to $16.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Responsible for the supervision of staff. Ensures proper assembly and service of foods; sanitation and safety of service, and utility areas of the kitchen. Ensures safe and efficient uses of resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service by giving one-on-one attention to detail.
• Oversees and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company standards for presentation, sanitation and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control.
• Helps plan menus.

• Trains employees; assigns and coordinates staff; works to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
• Determines work procedures and prepares work schedules; expedites workflow.
• Develops sanitation schedule and ensures staff adhere to the schedule for cleaning of kitchen and dining areas and washing of utensils and equipment.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
