Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a cashier to ensure a quick, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money in a fast-paced environment. You may assist other departments, stock shelves, or move carts as needed to support store operations.

Responsibilities include handling payments and exchanges, answering questions, and delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and clean workstation.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic required.
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer for input, access, modification or output of information.
• Minimally lift 75 pounds; team lifts allowed starting at 75 pounds.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
