Meijer is seeking a General Merchandise Clerk in Florence, KY to deliver friendly, responsive customer service while maintaining displays and stock. The role offers opportunities to learn and grow within a family‑driven company.

You will work across departments, assist customers, handle merchandise, and use technology to complete tasks, contributing to a welcoming store environment and strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Deliver remarkable customer service by providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service and a friendly attitude.
• Be an entry level team member exposed to a variety of retail tasks related to product, customer service and merchandising.
• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Help customers with any questions they may have.
• Direct customers to another team member who can answer questions you cannot.
• Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Collaborate with other team members and managers on additional tasks as needed.
• Work in the departments of Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
