Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to ensure shelves are stocked with a wide range of products and to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude. This entry-level role involves merchandising and basic store tasks across the sales floor.

You will be part of a team, learn processes quickly, and may work overnight shifts to prepare for the day. Meijer emphasizes growth, education support, and a strong community presence as part of its family-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and work in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
