Job summary

The New School's Parsons School of Fashion seeks student workers to support the Parsons Fashion Study Collection. You will coordinate faculty visits, curate garments for classrooms, and help document and image the collection using Past Perfect.

Responsibilities include cataloging images, returning garments after visits, and potentially curating onsite exhibits in the School of Fashion Hub. On-campus, hourly pay and professional exposure are provided.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in one of the listed undergraduate/graduate programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with collections or archives is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with faculty for Parsons Fashion Study Collection visits.
• Select garments based on requests for class visits.
• Facilitate class visits to the collection, schedule-permitting.
• Catalog and manage collection images, documenting items.
• Photograph garments and upload images to Past Perfect.
• Curate onsite exhibits in the School of Fashion Hub as needed.
