Job summary

Talbots in Beaufort, SC is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and build brand relationships. You will use fashion knowledge to create outfits and guide customers through merchandise choices.

As a member of the store team, you will support management in driving sales, stay aware of new arrivals, and participate in team initiatives. Flexible evenings and weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• Technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.

• Comfortable standing for extended periods and able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability of 15–20 hours per week.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Take an active role in assisting the management team to build store business.
• Support service enhancers to build customer relationships including Concierge.
• Service multiple customers at a time, multi-task and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and knowledge about new arrivals and fit/color/fashion details.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits and match items to customer needs.
• Maximize performance through learning, coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in clientelling/outreach, appointments and awards.
• Complete projects including orders, replenishment, and recovery.
