Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Designated Selling Associate in Houston who thrives in a fashion-forward, customer-centric sales environment. You will drive in-store and digital sales, educate customers on apparel and brand trends, and collaborate with Stylists and other DSAs to deliver outstanding service.

You will build relationships with customers, participate in product knowledge sessions, and assist with merchandising, displays, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools and reservations.
• Build lasting relationships with customers.
• Deliver service on customers' terms, with flexibility to perform duties in other departments.
• Provide honest feedback on style, fit, and value of pieces.
• Seek fashion knowledge through meetings and trainings to build expertise.
• Lead product knowledge meetings with DSAs and Stylists to share learning.
• Provide feedback to DM to help improve assortment.
• Drive sales through appointment-based selling during events and non-event times.
• Keep department ready: stock, re-merchandise, display, price markdowns, transfers, and cleaning.
• Grow Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
