Job summary

Talbots Germantown is looking for a part-time sales associate who delivers exceptional customer service and fashion expertise. You will help customers with styling, build relationships, and promote Talbots products in a fast-paced retail setting.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to navigate iPad/handheld systems while staying organized and active on the shop floor. Flexible availability is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise and a love of fashion.
• Strong ambition and passion for achieving goals in a team environment.
• Excellent verbal communication and integrity.
• Technological competency to navigate a computer/iPad/handheld system.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes the product and builds brand relationships.
• Support store management to grow the business and service enhancers.
• Assist with Concierge service and other customer service initiatives.
• Service multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects concurrently.
• Stay informed on fashion trends, arrivals, fit and color knowledge.
• Create outfits for customers and suggest matching items.
• Reach sales and service metrics through clientelling and appointments.
• Complete operational tasks: filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
