The Talbots store in Norwalk, CT is seeking a part-time Sales Associate with a love for fashion and strong customer service skills. You will engage customers, build outfits, and promote the Talbots brand while contributing to daily store operations.

Ideal candidates demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence and styling expertise.
• Possess a love of fashion and ability to create outfits for customers.
• Demonstrates excellent verbal communication skills and integrity.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to lift and move product up to 40 lbs.
• Open availability for 15–20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service to promote products and build brand relationships.
• Assist management in building store business and utilizing service enhancers (e.g., Concierge).
• Serve multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and new arrivals, with knowledge on fit and color.
• Create outfits for customers and suggest items to match their needs.
• Aim to meet sales and service metrics through clientelling, outreach, and appointments.
• Complete operational projects such as filling orders, replenishment and recovery.
