Job summary

Talbots in Champaign, IL is seeking a part-time associate with a passion for fashion to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales. You will build relationships, stay current on trends, and help customers assemble outfits while supporting store operations and concierge services.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Availability 15–20 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Open availability for 15–20 hours per week; flexible evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to promote products and brand.
• Assist management in building store business and using concierge services.
• Serve multiple customers, multitask, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed on fashion trends, arrivals, and product knowledge.
• Create outfits for customers and suggest matching items.
• Meet sales and service metrics through clientelling and outreach.
• Complete operational tasks: filling orders, replenishment, recovery.
