Job summary

Solomon Page is hiring a Product Development Coordinator for a top fashion company in NYC. The Associate Product Developer, Sampling coordinates end-to-end sampling, from prepositioning sample yardage to ordering and tracking garment samples, partnering with Design, PD and Merchandising for timely representation of the assortment.

As the point person for sampling, you ensure readiness reporting at material and style levels leading up to key milestones, and maintain dashboards and trackers for

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating end-to-end sampling in fashion or apparel.
• Ability to collaborate with Design, Product Development and Merchandising teams.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills for readiness and milestones.

Responsibilities

• Order sample yardage at greige and color-level to support color samples in PLM.
• Process vendor invoices for sample yardage and making costs.
• Own sampling needs for designated product categories and ensure timely receipt of garments.
• Maintain communication with vendors to meet brand calendars.
• Liaise between Design, PD, Raw Materials, Print/Color, Marketing and Merchandising and external partners.
• Attend weekly cross-functional meetings to understand assortment and priorities.
• Publish seasonal sample yardage cost and readiness reports to leaders.
• Keep the seasonal sample tracker updated and provide readiness reporting for milestones.
• Help build leadership dashboards with headlines and metrics ahead of meetings.
• Observe processes, anticipate needs and identify improvement areas.
• Prioritize workload based on business needs and deadlines.
