Randa Apparel & Accessories in Rosemont, IL, is seeking a Product Developer to own development through production readiness. You will coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, suppliers, and factories to ensure products meet design intent, quality, cost, and timing.

The role requires deep knowledge of product construction, BOMs, specifications, and production handoffs, plus strong cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Formación

• Experience in Product Development, sourcing, supply chain, merchandising, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of product construction, materials, components, and BOMs.
• Experience owning products through development, PP and TOP sample evaluation and approval, commercialization, and production handoff.
• Ability to evaluate feasibility, troubleshoot issues, and drive cross-functional follow-through.

Responsabilidades

• Own day-to-day development execution from initial development through production readiness.
• Maintain and evaluate style setup, BOMs, product records, specifications, and development documentation.
• Ensure product information is complete and aligned across systems, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Evaluate construction, materials, and feasibility throughout development.
• Collaborate with Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, suppliers, and factories to balance design, quality, cost, and timing.
• Identify solutions to support product, quality, and cost objectives.
• Troubleshoot development challenges and drive practical solutions.
• Evaluate samples against approved direction and quality standards.
• Drive sample corrections, approvals, revisions, and documentation for production readiness.
• Monitor deadlines, dependencies, and risks with cross-functional teams.
• Identify risks early and determine recovery actions with leadership involvement.
• Partner with Sourcing and factories to assess capabilities and construction methods.
• Maintain documentation and handoffs for assigned products.
• Provide guidance to Associate Product Developers and share best practices.
• Leverage PLM, analytics, AI-enabled tools, and emerging tech to improve execution.
