Job summary

Adecco is seeking an organized Associate Merchandiser to support planning, execution, and management of product assortments across the lifecycle. This role collaborates with Merchandising, Planning, Sourcing, Marketing, and other teams to drive results and ensure accurate product and inventory management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising or related field and 1+ year of merchandising experience, with strong analytical and organizational skills and proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1+ year of merchandising experience, including internships or relevant retail experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an understanding of retail metrics and business performance.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and time management abilities.
• Passion for fashion and understanding of consumer and brand trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to grow within a merchandising career path.

Responsibilities

• Support the Merchandising team in achieving departmental sales, margin, and inventory goals.
• Analyze business performance, sales trends, and market insights to identify opportunities and support decision-making.
• Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports.
• Maintain assortment plans, update receipts, manage sample tracking, and ensure data accuracy across merchandising systems.
• Assist with product lifecycle processes and prepare materials for key business meetings, including investment reviews and hindsight analyses.
• Research competitors, market trends, pricing strategies, and product assortments to inform merchandising decisions.
• Collaborate with Planning, Sourcing, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support product launches and promotional initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with business partners and contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment.
• Ensure timely communication of merchandising updates and critical information across stakeholders.
