WHO WE WANT

The Assistant Fashion Designer will assist with the support in day-to-day operations of the Design Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

1. Lend daily support to the design team
2. Create Design CADS / Workmanship Guides
3. Set up Styles/ Trim Codes in PLM
4. Create/Manage initial BOMs / TechPacks in PLM
5. Organize binders and file material library, trim library, quality standards
6. Input and update data into PLM and excel docs as needed
7. Assist in reviewing TOPS
8. Perform additional support duties as assigned

Education/Certification: Associate Degree or Certification in Fashion Design is required. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1-2 years of related experience required.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of colors when developing prints/collections
• Ability to review and approve trims and strike offs
• Tech Pack Development
• Packaging Design (BONUS)
• Proficient with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Proficient in Production Line Management (PLM) Program
• Understanding of grading, spec sheets, size charts, and pattern making
• Knowledge of Asana and Slack is a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
