Talbots in Manhasset, NY seeks a friendly, fashion-focused Store Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and fashion guidance. You'll engage with clients, build relationships, and help create stylish looks while meeting sales and service goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence, styling expertise and a love of fashion.
• Driven to build relationships and achieve goals as part of a store team.
• Strong communication and integrity.
• Comfortable with computer/iPad/handheld systems.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift at least 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service that promotes the product.
• Assist management to build store business.
• Support service enhancers to build strong relationships including Concierge.
• Service multiple customers, multi-task and handle projects.
• Stay aware of fashion trends and arrivals, product knowledge about fit, color, fashion, etc.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits and suggest items to match customer needs.
• Maximize performance by learning opportunities, coaching and feedback.
• Achieve sales and service metrics in key areas like clientelling and appointments.
• Complete operational duties: filling orders, replenishment, recovery.
