Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace components and tooling using standard hand measurement tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements.
• Assist in the inspection of parts using the Faro Arm and Verisurf software, including alignment and setup.
• Support creation of inspection reports based on CAD models, 2D drawings, and quality documentation (QD1).
• Work with electronic models to verify product conformance to design.
• Help validate inspection data sets against customer authority models.
• Document non conformances and communicate issues to the Quality and Engineering teams.
• Follow company procedures and quality standards during inspection processes.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of dimensional inspection experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Proficient with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply GD&T principles.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CAD models.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills (Nice To Have, Not Required)

• Experience with Verisurf or Faro Arm is a plus.
• Experience working in an AS9100 or ISO 9001-certified facility.
• Understanding of model-based inspection processes.
  
  

Compensation:

$22 - $29/hr
