Job Responsibilities:

1. Plant, cultivate, and harvest vegetables and fruits including broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, beans, squash, berries, corn, pumpkins, peaches, plums, apples, apricots, and pears.
2. Use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives.
3. Perform duties like tilling soil, applying fertilizers, transplanting, weeding, thinning, pruning, and applying pesticides.
4. Construct trellises, repair fences and farm buildings, participate in irrigation activities, and operate irrigation equipment.
5. Operate tractors and machinery for plowing, harrowing, fertilizing, planting, cultivating, spraying, and harvesting crops.
6. Repair and maintain farm vehicles and equipment.
7. Harvest fruits and vegetables manually.
8. Apply pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers to crops.
9. Monitor crop progress and identify plants, pests, and weeds to determine pesticide and fertilizer application.
10. Maintain irrigation ditches and record crop information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience in the described tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures.
• Drive requirement.
• Repetitive movements, pushing, pulling, stooping, and bending.
• Post-hire drug screening at employer’s expense.
• Basic understanding of English for safety instructions.

Additional details include a minimum apple picking requirement of 100 bushels per day with no more than 4% bruising, four days of training provided by the employer, and safety protocols regarding cell phone usage.
