Responsibilities

• The employer will furnish, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required for the work.
• Workers will be charged for any willful damage or loss of such tools and equipment.
• Diverse Crops: Corn, Wheat, Hay & Straw.
• Workers may fill planters with seed from 50lb. Bags.
• Workers may operate equipment to prepare fields.
• Workers may spray crops for weeds and grass.
• Workers may apply water and fertilizers.
• Workers may restock trucks and equipment with seed bags.
• Workers may use equipment to prepare fields for planting.
• Workers may load and unload harvested crops for shipping and storage.
• Hay & Straw: Workers may cut and bale hay, straw with equipment.
• Workers may load and unload bales onto trucks or wagons.
• Workers may load bales in barns for storage.
• Workers may load trucks for shipping.
• Livestock Cattle: Workers may monitor food and water supplies.
• Workers may herd livestock to pastures for grazing or to scales or other enclosures.
• Workers may examine animals to detect illness, injury or diseases.
• Workers may move equipment or livestock from one location to another.
• Workers may all perform all duties related to livestock.
• Workers may maintain fences, gates, barns and other buildings on the farm.

• Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range).
• Meals: The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers can prepare their own meals, at no cost to workers. The employer will also provide transportation, at least once each week, to assure that workers have access to stores.
• Transport: EMPLOYER WILL PAY INBOUND TRAVEL COST TO WORKERS UPON ARRIVAL AND PAY OUTBOUND TRAVEL COST AT COMPLETION OF WORK, AS WELL AS DAILY SUBSISTENCE PAY. FOR WORKERS BEYOND COMMUTING DISTANCE.

• Alternative Work: This could include workers preparing barns, preparing land for planting, draining fields, maintenance of tools and equipment, and other work that is directly related to crop and activities for which the worker was hired.
