Are you looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Join our team at the Farmington Polo Grounds in Farmington, CT!

We are seeking a Landscape Technician with experience in landscape installation, grounds maintenance, and turf maintenance. The candidate must have a positive, “can do” attitude and be willing to step in and help the team where needed. This is a year round, full time, benefit eligible position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401K, and paid vacation days.

Job Responsibilities Include (but not limited to):

• Maintains shrubs, trees, flower beds, and turf including pesticide applications.
• Plants flowers, trees, shrubs, and turf.
• Installs hardscapes – paver walks, walls, and stone edging.
• Operates landscape construction equipment and tractors with attachments
• Set up/break down for polo and tent events including table, chairs, outdoor furniture, tents, etc. Remains on sight during events

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 2-3 years of turf and or landscape experience.
• Must have Valid Driver’s License.
• High School graduate or GED required; Associates degree in the landscape field preferred.
• Must be able to lift 50-60 lbs.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Team Player.
• Ability and willingness to handle multiple functions.
