We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Insurance Producer for a flexible part-time opportunity. This role is ideal for licensed professionals who want to leverage their industry experience and personal network while maintaining control over their schedule—whether due to family obligations or the desire for supplemental income.
You will sell personal lines, business/commercial lines, and life insurance primarily through Farmers Insurance Group, with access to additional markets including Progressive, Travelers, Allstate, Safeco, Openly, Branch, and many others. This multi-carrier platform allows you to shop for the best solutions for your clients.
Base Pay: $24,000 per year
Realistic First-Year Total Income: $40,000 – $45,000
(Base + uncapped commissions and residual/renewal income)
Compensation includes a stable annual base plus competitive commissions on new business and a meaningful share of renewal/residual commissions on the business you write and service. Earnings scale with the relationships and production you develop. There is no artificial cap on commission income.
Average 20–25 hours per week. You will largely set your own work schedule to fit family or other commitments. The position offers remote options and true flexibility after the initial training period. Fixed commitments are limited to structured onboarding/training, one weekly meeting, and approximately 6–8 weeks per year of office duties (scheduled in advance when possible).
Generate your own leads and develop client relationships primarily through personal networking, social circles, professional contacts, and community connections.
Quote, present, and place personal lines, small commercial/business lines, and life insurance solutions using our multi-carrier platform.
Build and service a book of business with a focus on long-term client relationships and residual income.
Work independently as a true self-starter while collaborating with the team as needed.
Handle office duties and related responsibilities approximately 6–8 weeks per year (scheduled in advance when possible).
Participate in initial training and one weekly team meeting (remote-friendly).
Licensed (or willing to maintain) Wisconsin Property & Casualty and Life insurance licenses.
Prior experience in insurance sales or production—especially personal lines, commercial, or life.
Proven self-starter who can independently generate leads and build relationships through networking.
Comfortable working remotely and managing your own schedule with accountability.
Seeking part-time flexibility due to family obligations or looking for quality supplemental income.
Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help clients find the right coverage.
