Job summary

American Peanut Growers Group, LLC is hiring for a full-time, in-person position focused on pest control and facility maintenance. Responsibilities include applying herbicides and insecticides, fogging warehouses, and supervising safety and equipment use during harvest seasons.

The role requires working with others, lifting and climbing as needed, and an emphasis on safety and compliance. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, life, vision, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Pest control experience preferred (1 year).
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Apply and record herbicides as needed.
• Apply and record insecticides as needed.
• Fog Farmer Stock warehouses as needed.
• Maintain rodent control at buying points bi-weekly.
• Inspect warehouses and report weekly.
• Inspect fire extinguishers monthly.
• Perform pre-harvest inspections and spraying on warehouses, trailers, and cleaners annually.
• Assist with lawn care as needed.
• Restock aflatoxin lab supplies during harvest season.
• Assist at seed warehouse daily during seed planting season.
• Assist on yard daily during harvest season.
