Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms in Minnesota is seeking a Farm Hand - Warehouse to support our potato warehouse operations. You will complete load out as needed and follow supervisor directions to perform daily maintenance in a safe, professional, and timely manner.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management on load out, maintaining equipment and facilities, and potentially leading a crew during harvest. A valid driver's license and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship are required.

Qualifications

• Previous potato storage and/or warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with management on load out and ensure proper steps are completed efficiently.
• Support the compliance of all food safety regulations and workers safety.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members.
• Maintain buildings and equipment ensuring they are in appropriate condition.
• Potentially lead a crew during harvest and planting.
• Repair, maintain and operate equipment as well as other farm and agriculture duties.
• Maintain a clean work area and care for all tools, machines, and equipment.
• Operate agriculture and farm equipment.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments and adhere to all policies and procedures.
