Job summary

eGenesis is seeking a reliable member to join the Farm Operations team at the WI facility, assisting in all farm activities including operating large equipment, hay production, landscaping, and basic animal care of swine.

The role requires experience with large animals, hands-on maintenance, and the ability to work a rotating weekend/holiday schedule, with strong teamwork and safety focus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in large animal care and handling.
• 1+ years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• CDL license and welding experience desired but not required.
• Must not have any other interaction with pigs outside of the company.
• Strong attention to operational planning and follow-through.
• Working knowledge of data collection and recording.

Responsibilities

• Operate large farm equipment (tractors, skid loaders, hay equipment).
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and buildings.
• Maintain landscaping and grounds upkeep.
• Care for swine including daily feeding and handling.
• Follow safety and biosecurity regulations and document activities.
• Complete required trainings and paperwork.
