eGenesis is seeking a reliable Farm Operations team member to support all farm activities, operate large equipment, perform maintenance, and care for swine at the Wisconsin facility.

The role requires experience with large animals, woodworking and metal tools, and physical tasks in various environments. Weekend/holiday rotation and strict safety protocols are part of the job, with opportunities to contribute to a growing bioengineering farm operation.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in large animal care and handling.
• 1+ years of experience in facility and equipment maintenance.
• Working knowledge of animal husbandry, including nutrition, reproduction, and safety.
• Basic working knowledge of facility maintenance (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Basic use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• CDL driver’s license and welding experience desired but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate large farm equipment at the WI facility (skid loaders, tractors).
• Maintain and repair equipment and buildings; perform preventative maintenance.
• Landscape and grounds upkeep; operate lawn care equipment.
• Assist with daily care of pigs; feeding and handling; weekend/holiday rotation.
• Follow safety regulations; report accidents/incidents; maintain clean work areas.
• Coordinate with vendors; follow maintenance schedules; document work.
