Job summary

EverGRO Cooperative in Louisa is hiring a part-time Farm Store Retail Associate to support customers and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours. The role covers greeting customers, answering questions, and managing sales and stock.

You will rotate between the sales floor and warehouse, handle checkouts, stock, and loading duties, and work outdoors in varying weather. Salary ranges from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; agriculture interests (horses, cattle, gardening, plants, small animals) are a plus
• Willing and able to operate a forklift, lift product, and work indoors and outdoors
• Valid Driver's License
• Availability to work 3–4 days/week during store hours (Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm, Sat, 8am-3pm and Sun, 9am-3pm); preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays/Sundays

A Typical Shift

You'll rotate between the sales floor and warehouse based on customer traffic. Early in the shift, you may greet regulars, answer quick questions, and keep product faced and organized. As the day picks up, you'll move between the counter and the loading area, switching gears as customers need help getting feed, fencing, or supplies to their vehicles. You'll also spend time checking stock levels, straightening high-traffic areas, and keeping walkways clear. Some tasks take you outside, so expect changing weather and a steady pace. Closing shifts focus on resetting the store, tidying the warehouse, and making sure the next day starts clean and safe.

Salary: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
