EverGRO Cooperative is seeking a part-time Farm Store Associate in Upperville to assist customers and keep the store running smoothly during busy hours.

You will rotate between the sales floor and warehouse, greet regulars, answer quick questions, and help customers with feed, fencing, or supplies to their vehicles. Expect varying weather, a steady pace, and precise stock management.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; agriculture interests (horses, cattle, gardening, plants, small animals) are a plus.
• Able to operate a forklift, lift products, and work indoors and outdoors.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Availability to work 3-4 days/week during store hours; preference for closing shifts and rotating Saturdays.

A Typical Shift

You’ll rotate between the sales floor and warehouse based on customer traffic. Early in the shift, you may greet regulars, answer quick questions, and keep product faced and organized. As the day picks up, you’ll move between the counter and the loading area, switching gears as customers need help getting feed, fencing, or supplies to their vehicles. You’ll also spend time checking stock levels, straightening high-traffic areas, and keeping walkways clear. Some tasks take you outside, so expect changing weather and a steady pace. Closing shifts focus on resetting the store, tidying the warehouse, and making sure the next day starts clean and safe.
